• Always Drop
  • Means the firewall drops all packets in excess of the specified rate limit

• Congested Drop
  • Excess packets receive the same priority as non-excess but are dropped on congestion

• Low Priority
  • Excess packets are deprioritized to the low priority queue

• Congestion Detection
  • Excess packets will be scheduled using Random Early Detection (RED)
