• POSIX installation improvements:

  • POSIX files have the correct file permissions
  • more Unix utilities in their expected directory
  • /etc/profile enhancements:
    • “.bak” version kept
    • “/etc/profile.local executed at end
    • able to define shell vars from the CI
  • the SH UDC in hppxudc.pub.sys is more intuitive
    • CWD no longer changed
    • e.g. sh -c makefile

• Extended characters in POSIX filenames

  • ~ ` $ % ^ * + { } | :
