1) Client “C” sends a packet out (destined for machine “G”)

2) The SWITCH sends only to the port 7 (for machine “G”)

3) If Client “C’ sends a broadcast packet then only C,D,E,F,G and the Probe will receive the packet.

4) The LanProbe In This Picture Will Only Receive Broadcast Packets
