V[isual]

VISUAL (Land only)

Gives you a top view of the island you are currently on. Your sectors will appear as the letter of the designation (see HELP SECTORS). Mountains appear as a (^) unless occupied by you in which case they appear as a ("). Inland water appears as a blank. Unoccupied land appears as a dash (-). Land owned by other nations appears as a numeric digit. The digit is that nations number mod 10. (i.e. nation 54 would be a "4").

If the BORDER option is used, all nations including yours will appear is alphabetic letters or "@". This option can help to establish where the border is on two nations which display the same numeric digit (e.g. 54 and 94). Te PARTIAL option will display only has much of the island as nheccesary to show your land.

The WINDOW option allows to you limit the visual to a certain region of the island indicated by the upper left corner (x1,y1) and the lower right corner (x2,y2). On subsequent visuals you can omit the x1,y1,x2,y2 and the WINDOW option will remember to last window selected.

The MINES option will show water sectors mined by your nation as an asterisk.
