Minutes		 RESOLVED that the minutes of 02 Apr 2002 be ratified

Corporate Status		 The paperwork and registration fee for the 501(c)(6) status was sent last week to the IRS. Once the documents have passed the IRS, memberships will be tax-deductible, though donations will not.

Meetings in San Jose		 The Board reviewed meetings which took place in and around the Solution Symposium in San Jose. In specific, members of the Board had opportunity to meet with folks from Allegro, HP and Interex. Further, OpenMPE had a session at the end of the symposium, attended by approximately 60 people.

Membership and Donation Models		 OpenMPE, Inc. will soon be prepared to accept donations and enroll members. To that end, the following motions were made and carried:
  1. RESOLVED that the donation model be formalized, ratified via email and that OpenMPE, Inc. begin accepting donations prior to the next board meeting.


  2. RESOLVED that an initial individual membership be formalized by the Membership Committee, brought to the board for email ratification and put in place as soon as is possible.
