| 2003-04-03-02 Election of Directors |
The annual election of directors was held online. OpenMPE had 124 members at the time of the election and 39 valid ballots were cast. Paul Courry (a member of OpenMPE but not of the board) served as independant auditor. The election resulted in the reelection of Jon Backus, Mark Klein, Ted Ashton and Birket Foster. |

| 2003-04-03-04 Annual Meeting |
The annual meeting was held in Valley Forge during one of the sessions at the east coast Interex e3000 Solutions Symposium. There were 20 people in the audience, 3 of whom were OpenMPE members and 7 of whom were on the OpenMPE discussion list. |
| 2003-04-03-05 MPE forum, Licensing |
The was no news to report on the MPE forum or regarding licensing, though it was mentioned that OpenMPE should create a contingency plan in case HP sometime decides to get out of the MPE licensing business. |

Ron Horner has taken over care of the web site. |
| 2003-04-03-07 HP Liason |
HP has expressed a desire to have Jeff move from being a member of the OpenMPE board to filling the role of HP Liason to OpenMPE. There has been some discussion within HP regarding the possibility of someone from HP to fill that seat. |
