Present: Birket Foster, John Wolff, Paul Edwards, Donna Garverick, Steve Suraci, John Burke
Absent: Mark Klein, Alan Tibbetts, Ron Horner

2004-09-03-01 Ron Horner	The board is concerned about R. Horner's inability to attend meetings because of job commitments. Ron's talents as webmaster are critical. The treasurer position will become more active in the near future. J. Burke is willing to act as assistant webmaster and is to contact R. Horner for access information.
2004-09-03-02 Fund Raising Campaigne	S. Suraci reports he has been compiling a list of 3rd-party MPE vendors. S. Suraci and D. Garverick to contact Abby Lentz at The 3000 Newswire regarding advertisement. Just emails to customers are not enough to generate sufficient sufficient funds. Can phone calls be made? If so, how? Between the cost and workload it's a real challenge. Perhaps OpenMPE can partner with the vendors. A plan is needed to move forward. When the letters go out, how will questions from customers be answered?
