FEUDAL

FEUDAL was written in FORTRAN/66 by Steve Estvanik and was on the 1982 release of the Contributed Software Library.

The original Interex Abstract is below:

FEUDAL is a multi-player simulation of medieval warfare. Players control kingdoms, build chess-like pieces and move them to attack other kingdoms. Two files are provided to allow short and long updates. The long update allows many players to play at different times during the day. The short, or "BLITZ" version is intended for several players logged on simultaneously.

A sample dialog of a few of the game's commands and their display follows:

Welcome to FEUDAL 5 May 1981
Please limit thyself to 3 kingdoms
