• Logical Table Linking, cont.
  • All companies should be on the same server
  • A query or data input is redirected by the application to a physical table of another company
  • When main tables are linked, referenced tables should also be linked
  • Non-mandatory data referenced tables need not be linked logically, but values must exist in the company that references them, otherwise errant data will be referenced
