Guest
Guest visitor Paul Raulerson for his volunteer effort to revamp the OpenMPE website.
Discussion:
Web site should be functional without Javascript, should be on an HP3000 to promote MPE. Should be 24/7. Possible to host website on a 918? Membership database should also be hosted on an HP3000. Get member database from a 3rd party and re-host it ourselves.
Approved:
Continue to develop what Paul has on these websites and make it compatible in functionality or better to our current website. Take the data of our current website and make it compatible with Paul's demo, which gives Paul some free reign of style and functionality and show it to the Board when ready. At that point we can decide whether to host it on our machine or something else.

Treasurer's Report
No change from the bank. Need to get announcement about Ron Seybold's contribution. Ron Seybold is also asking about an article about INVENT3K access, and Hobbyists making contributions, reiterate OpenMPE's successes, what our plans are for the near and distant future.

Third Party Usage and Rental
Discussion:
Software license review before 3rd party may use software, whether OpenMPE is the licensee or not.
Annual support contracts. Does OpenMPE have obligations to maintain them?
  1. Who is planning on using it.
  2. As appropriate OpenMPE would keep it active or not.
  3. Ninety days from the end of the year, our Treasurer would have to do the administrative function of calling the client/contributor and have the contributor confirm they want to have that software.
  4. If there is more than one client using it then split that bill among multiple clients.
  5. Should we have an administrative fee over and above that due to overhead.
  6. Service bureau charges? The license we'd get would have to be for a service bureau.
