In order to give the MPE user community a way to go on the record as supporting our goals and to keep future options open, we are now accepting monetary contributions from all companies and individuals interested in seeing MPE live and prosper beyond the 2010 end of support. Your contributions will allow OpenMPE to provide services in the form of patch coordination among the eight named source code licensees, and continued advocacy with HP. Note that contributions to organizations like OpenMPE may be allowed as a business expense (some organizations record it as a membership and others as advertising). However, along with sincere thanks we are offering levels of exposure on our web site and reciprocal web links at higher contribution levels; furthermore, icons will be available at each level that contributors can display on their own web pages to show their commitment to the future of MPE.
Here are the contributor levels (given in US dollars):
Bronze -- Contributors giving $200 and up will be listed on the Bronze Contributor Section.
Silver -- Contributors giving $500 and up will be listed on the Silver Contributors Section and may provide a small logo to be placed with the listing.
Gold -- Contributors giving $1000 or more will be included on the Gold Contributor Section and may provide both a small Logo and a URL to which the listing will link.
Platinum -- Contributors giving $5000 or more will be included on the Platinum Contributor Section and may provide a large logo, a URL to which the listing should link and a brief company profile.
Contributions can be made by sending a check to: OpenMPE, Inc. c/o Tracy Johnson, 23 Colonial Acres Drive, Treasurer(Acting), 23 Colonial Acres Drive, Hampton VA 23664
It is important to remember that contributions are NOT related to memberships; they are completely separate transactions. Also keep in mind that contributions to and memberships in OpenMPE are not meant to replace other memberships.
Thank you in advance for your support. If you have questions please contact any of the board members.
