Ship Log PDF Comment Victory Point Value British Victory Points Lost French Victory Points Lost
HBMS Resultion 74 Resolution commenced firing on Turn 6 and consistently fired close with Basic Gunnery Numbers from 22 to 31, usually at Ardent, Conquerant or Eveille. 810.00N/A
HBMS Prudent 64 Prudent also commenced firing on Turn 6, but unfortunately, became separated from the line. The Captain fell overboard on Turn 12 and the ship formally struck on the last Turn. 6464.00N/A
HBMS London 98 Except for a pot shot at Jason on Turn 3, London was not able to fire until Turn 9 and started taking major damage on Turns 11 through 15 that she was not able to fire to her full potential. 9743.65N/A
HBMS Royal Oak 74 Like London, Royal Oak took a pot shot at Neptune on Turn 4 but did not get into any action until later in the game starting Turn 11, although there were all well placed at close range. 780.00N/A
HBMS America 64 With a crew quality of 'B' America packed more punch than the Bedford, however she also didn't get into the fight until late, firing only 5 times, once at the Conquerant, and four times at the Ardent. 720.00N/A
HBMS Bedford 74 Bedford also did ot get into the fighting until late, the first shot on Turn 11. She also took quite a bit of damage for getting so late in the game. She was also headed the wrong way and could have me the same fate as the Prudent. 7010.50N/A
HXMS Neptune 74 Neptune started firing early but then got separated and then started picking on the Prudent. 89N/A0.00
HXMS Jason 64 Jason got by with hardly a scratch, eventually helping London to lose a hull section. Apparently the opposition did not think Jason was worth firing at. 70N/A0.00
HXMS Provence 64 Provence hardly fired. Finally picking on Prudent when the going was good. With 'D' crew quality, she could have been an easy target too. 49N/A0.00
HXMS Duc de Bourgogne 80s Only losing one hull section late in the game, took a pot shot at Prudent early on. Finally setting on London. 94N/A9.40
HXMS Eveille 64 Like Prudent, Eveille was heavily picked on by her opponents. Probably because everyone mispronounced her name 'Evil'. Giving as good as she got, contributed to heavily damaging the Prudent and the Bedford. 62N/A21.70
HXMS Ardent B64 Mostly firing at either medium range or half-broadsides Ardent couldn't inflict the damage she should have. 62N/A27.90
HXMS Conquerant 74 Conquerant was heavily into the fighting early, and consistently gave good shot of Modified Gunnery Numbers of 25 or more until her first crew section was lost on Turn 13. 88N/A22.00

2nd Scenario: RS18 A Foggy Day

HBMS America 64 Turning to starboard, America attempted to form the nucleus of the British line, and got into the fray never losing a section. All shots had a MGN from the 15 to 32. A Creq Quality of 'B' also gave her an edge. 720.00N/A
HBMS Robust 74 Robust fired a few half broadsides against Eveille, Ardent, and Conquerant, maneuvering out of range until last turn with a final shot at Eveille. 787.80N/A
HBMS London 98 Fired 5 times at Duc de Bourgogne, thrice at Ardent, twice at Eveille, and once at Conquerant. 984.90N/A
HBMS Prudent 64 Prudent was in the thick of the fighting firing 4 times at Ardent and Eveille, 3 times at Duc. 619.15N/A
HBMS Bedford 74 Bedford had amazing initiative to get up forward from the rear only to take a double hit from Jason and Neptune on Turn 13 for a critical hit and she caught on fire. 6941.40N/A
HBMS Europe 64 Slow for a 64, Europe came up late, but starting with some long range shots at Ardent, Europe at the end got four shots off at Duc de Bourgogne. 610.00N/A
HBMS Adamant 50 Adamant skirted about to windward of the battle making some long range potshots with Modified Gunnery Numbers of 10 or less, (10, 6, 5, 2, 1, & 1). 450.00N/A
HBMS Chatham 50 Rampantly picked on at medium range, Chatham finally got some good shots off at Provence when she finally showed her stern. 5213.00N/A
HXMS Neptune 74 Neptune contributed heavily to Bedford's problems by firing at her 6 times, after a single medium range shot at Chatham. 74N/A0.00
HXMS Jason 64 Jason did little but fire medium range shots at Chatham in the Modified Gunnery Number (MGN) in the teens. Near the end got a couple of good shots at Bedford with MGN of 31 and 30, and lastly a 25 MGN at London. 69N/A0.00
HXMS Provence 64 Provence mostly annoyed Chatham with medium range shots also in the teens, with a few shots at America for good measure. 50N/A0.00
HXMS Duc de Bourgogne 80 Fired mostly at America, Bedford and London, but took the worst end of it. If the game had gone longer, Duc may have struck. 97N/A38.80
HXMS Eveille 64 Eveille fired mostly at Prudent and Adamant with MGN in the low 20's or high teens. 62N/A15.50
HXMS Ardent B64 Ardent was apparently, the French counterpart to the Bedford, taking the most damage. She fired at several targets mostly with MGN in the high teens. Bedford 4x, London 3x, Prudent 2x, Europe 2x, and Robust once. 60N/A30.00
HXMS Conquerant 74 Conquerant, like Ardent fired at a varying array of British targets but apparently the heavier hull helpet it outlast the Ardent. Fired at Bedford 4x, London 3x, Robust 2x, Prudent 2x, and Chatham once. 88N/A13.20
